Description
Number 2 (Snowdrop Cottage) and Number 3 on Church Street are a pair of cottages dating from around 1800. They are constructed from squared, coursed rubble and feature a tile roof with stone slate verges and a central brick chimney stack. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic and have a three-window range.
On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century diamond-shaped window to the left, along with two 19th-century sash windows that have vertical glazing bars. There are traces of at least three segmental arches with large keystones above these windows. The upper floor features three three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, also set under segmental arches with keystones. The roof includes two dormers; the left dormer has a sash window with glazing bars, while the right dormer has a two-light casement with glazing bars.
