Description
This is a row of three shops with living accommodation above, built in the early 19th century. The buildings are of brick, rendered and colourwashed, with a slate roof and brick stacks at the ends and in the centre. They are three storeys high, with a symmetrical four-window façade. The shops have double-depth plans. Each shop has a part-glazed door, with a hood extending over the windows, supported by moulded consoles. The door to number 24 has a pilaster surround, and a further plank door. The shop fronts themselves are from the early to mid-19th century, with some original glazing bars and moulded hoods. Windows on the first floor include a 12-pane sash to the left, with a replaced sash to the right. The second floor has a 12-pane sash to the left and a 9-pane sash to the right. The interiors of the buildings were not inspected.
