Description
Eastern Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with some painted stone dressings and features a hipped tile roof. The building has three storeys and five bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have gauged brick heads with keystones. The ground and first floor windows are panelled, while the second floor windows are fluted. The middle window on the first floor has a round head and moulded imposts, with a keystone that is carved with a plume of feathers and extends into the sill of the second floor window above. The doorway, located in the central bay, features a round head with a fanlight and is sheltered by an open porch with a leaded tent roof supported by 20th-century steel. There are chimneys on the left and right sides, positioned behind the ridge.
