Description

Cromwell Cottage is a house dating probably from the early 18th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill and has a thatched roof. The timber is framed in square panels. The house has one storey and an attic. The west wall has three windows to the left of the front door, one window to the right, and two eyebrow dormers. The roof is half-hipped on the right-hand side. The right-hand (south) gable wall has two windows on the ground floor and an attic window positioned between the tie-beam and collar. A chimney is on the rear wall. The building is included on the statutory list because of its group value.
