Description

Oakfield House is a house dating from around 1800, built of brick in Flemish bond with a hipped tile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The ground floor features sashed windows, while the first floor has sashed windows with glazing bars, all topped with gauged brick heads. The central bay contains a door with a fanlight that has Gothick glazing, framed by a doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns and an open pediment. There are chimneys located to the left and right of the ridge. The right-hand return wall, which faces north, includes a two-storey canted bay window.
