Description

The Old Vicarage is an early to mid-19th century house situated on Main Road, Kempsey. It is constructed of stucco and has a hipped slate roof. The house has two storeys and two bays, with flanking pilaster strips and an eaves band on the facade. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and louvred shutters. The doorway, located in the right-hand bay, features a round head with a fanlight, a reeded surround with impost blocks decorated with paterae, and a partly glazed door with margin lights. A two-storey cast-iron verandah extends across the full width of the facade. Chimneys are situated to the left and right of the building.
