Description

Landguard is an early 19th-century house located on St James's Street in Yarmouth. The building is finished in stucco and features a hipped slate roof with a brick chimneystack on the left side. It stands two storeys high and has three windows. The windows are primarily 16-pane sashes set within reveals, but there is a mid-19th-century central box bay that has verticals only, horns, and moulded aprons. The central entrance is framed by a doorcase with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets, and it has panelled reveals along with a five-panelled door, where the top panel is glazed.
