Description
Port House is a house located on St James's Street in Yarmouth. It dates from the early 19th century and was altered in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and has a slate roof. It is two storeys tall and features three windows. Both the ground and first floors have 16-pane sash windows, but the first floor includes a central mid-19th century box bay window with verticals only, horns, and pilasters. The central entrance has a doorcase with a sloping hood supported by brackets, and it contains a three-panelled door. The building also has a plinth.
