Description

Dolphin Cottage is an early to mid-19th century house in The Square, Yarmouth, altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with white brick dressings, and has a slate roof with two yellow brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys and has attics, with a three-by-four window arrangement. There are two gabled dormers. The first floor has two casement windows with jalousies, and a 20th-century bay window. On the ground floor, there are four 20th-century bays with leaded lights supported on brackets. A gabled wooden and brick weather porch is on the left side, and a plank door is set within a cambered surround on the right. The building is included on the list for its group value.
