House. Probably C18 partly remodelled in the C19. Cement rendered front otherwise rubble, slate sills and wooden lintels concealed. Scantle slate roofs with brick chimneys over gable ends, cast-iron ogee gutters. L-Shaped plan with 2 rooms at the front and steep-roofed service wing at right angles to rear left. Central cross passage leading to stairs. Two storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south front with central doorway. 6-panel door with flush headed bottom panels. Old latticed and otherwise enriched arched lean-to porch (similar to the one on The Square House qv). Ground floor French windows at either side and 4-pane horned sashes to 1st floor. Interior not inspected. One of a group of little altered house near the church and around a village square. Included for group value.
