GV II

House in row. Probably C18. Painted rubble and painted rendered cob, slate sills. Scantle slate roof sweeping slightly lower to rear with brick chimneys over gable ends adjoining Rockaway qv., left, and Sunnyside qv., right.

Plan: parlour, left, larger kitchen living-room, right, and passage between leading to stair and shallower rear service rooms. Ground slopes down to right and to rear. Two storeys. Irregular three-window north west front. Doorway slightly left of middle with C20 door. Left-hand window now with C20 door. Other windows are circa late C18-early C19 horizontal sliding two-light sashes with six panes per light. First floor has the two right-hand windows grouped together (possibly this room was used for spinning).

Interior not inspected but said to have some original features.

One of a group of little altered houses ranged around a village square, which is unusual in Cornwall.
