Description
The gate piers, gate, and steps located to the southwest of the Church of Saint Manacca date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from shale rubble and dressed granite, featuring a wrought iron gate. The design includes U-shaped walls with granite monolith piers flanking a central gateway, which is accessed by a flight of eight steps. The granite coped walls support the structure, while the gate itself has closely set bars and a shaped scrolled head. Additionally, there is an iron overthrow that bears a lamp.
