Description

The gate piers, gate, and steps located at the southeast of the Church of Saint Manacca date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from shale rubble and dressed granite, featuring a wrought iron gate. The design includes two short parallel walls that form the gate piers, flanking a cattle grid and approached by a flight of four granite steps. The gate has closely set bars and a shaped scrolled head, and there is an iron overthrow that bears a lamp.
