Description
Granite steps, gate piers, and gates are located at the south entrance to the churchyard in Bridford. The flight of steps, which may date back to the 17th century, leads up to the churchyard gate, while the gate itself is from the 19th century. The structure features granite steps and gate piers made from plain granite, along with an iron gate. The steps ascend to the churchyard, which is positioned high above the village street. The gate piers are monolithic and made of granite, and the iron gates have spike finials and quatrefoil decoration on the middle rail, along with an iron overthrow.
