Description
The gate and gate-piers, along with the wall to the right and the mounting block, are located at the southeast entrance to the churchyard of the Church of St Nonna in Altarnun. These features likely date from the mid-19th century. The gate-piers are made of granite and are square in shape with pyramid caps. The gates are cast iron from the 19th century, featuring stiles that end in arrowheads, although the lantern above has been removed. The wall to the right is constructed of stone rubble with granite coping, while the wall to the left is formed by the end wall of Cosy Cottage. To the right, there is a mounting block made of stone rubble, which includes four granite steps.
