Description

Dyji Klys and Rosebridge Cottage is a pair of cottages that likely date back to the late 17th century. They are constructed of stone rubble and feature a rag slate roof with gable ends. The right cottage, Dyji Klys, has a stone rubble end stack on the right, an axial stack near the center, and another axial stack, originally an end stack, near the left end.

The cottages are arranged in a two-room plan with entrances located near the center. Rosebridge Cottage, on the left, has been extended to the left in the 20th century with a narrow one-room plan addition.

The exterior is two stories tall with an asymmetrical four-window front. Dyji Klys has an entrance near the center with a chamfered granite square-headed frame that features pyramid stops and a 20th-century part-glazed door. This entrance is flanked by two 16-pane sash windows from around the 19th century, both with unmoulded granite lintels. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sashes placed asymmetrically, along with a third window that has been blocked to the right.

Rosebridge Cottage has a nearly symmetrical two-window front with a 20th-century glazed door flanked by two 16-pane sashes from the 19th century. The first floor also has two similar sashes, all with unmoulded granite lintels. In the left extension, which uses similar materials to the main house, there is a 20th-century window on the ground floor.

Inside Dyji Klys, the right-hand chamber on the first floor features a late 17th-century moulded plaster ceiling with an oval pattern, ovolo-moulded ribs, and a heavy moulded cornice. The interior of Rosebridge Cottage has not been inspected.
