Description
Steps, stile, gate piers, and gate located southwest of the Church of St Sennar date from the early 19th century. They are made of dressed granite and feature a wrought iron gate. The grid stile is flanked by parallel ashlar walls, with the gate hung at the outer end to the south. There is a stepped pyramid flight of steps leading up to the gateway, and another flight of steps descends inside the gateway.
