Description
This building is a farmhouse located immediately west of The Vicarage, dating from the 18th century and extended around the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite ashlar and features a scantle slate roof with dressed granite stacks at the gable ends. The gutters are made of cast iron and have an ogee profile.
The farmhouse has a two-room plan, with the larger room on the left likely serving as the kitchen, and a cross passage in between. The early 19th-century extension includes a one-room cottage at the left end, and there is a later 19th-century lean-to at the far left. The exterior is two storeys high and has an overall four-window south front. To the left is the one-window cottage, which has a former doorway to its right. The farmhouse to the right has a nearly symmetrical three-window front with a central doorway. The doorcase and four-panel door are from the late 19th century, and the farmhouse features 12-pane horned sash windows from the same period. The interior has not been inspected.
