Description
Vicarage Meadow is a coach house with grooms accommodation, now functioning as a house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof, complete with brick chimneys at the gable ends. The original layout included a coach house on the left and a grooms cottage on the right and above. The wide doorway at the front of the coach house has been partly blocked and fitted with a window. There are later 19th-century lean-to service rooms at the rear.
The building is two storeys tall and has a nearly symmetrical south front, featuring an approximately central doorway flanked by two windows, with a window above the doorway and another window at the first floor on the left. The main windows are horned sashes with glazing bars, and the door is a 20th-century ledged design. The interior has been partly remodelled in the 20th century but retains much of its original structure.
