Description

The stile, gate piers, and gate located west of the Church of Saint Germoe are likely from the 18th century. They feature granite rubble walls with some dressed granite, along with dressed granite stile stones, edges, copings, and monolithic granite gate piers. A wrought-iron gate is included in the design.

The layout consists of a gateway with a grid stile, flanked by high-backed stone benches that serve as side walls. At the west end, there are a pair of square gate piers. The side walls have chamfered copings on top, while the taller gate piers are round-headed. The gate itself has elliptically-arched bracing and a top rail.
