Description

This is a road bridge over a stream, likely built in the 18th century. It features granite rubble parapet walls, granite lintels, and dressed granite copings. The bridge is designed so that the road crosses the stream at an angle, resulting in staggered but parallel parapets. The stream is spanned by roughly-hewn granite lintels, and the bridge has high square-ended parapets topped with round-headed copings. This simple yet complete bridge holds an important position in the village green in front of the Church of Saint Germoe.
