Description
Marston Mews Studio Cottage is a pair of cottages located on South Street in Yarmouth, dating from the 18th century. The Studio Cottage is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, while Marston Mews is cement rendered. Both cottages feature a tiled roof with two brick chimneystacks and are 1 and a half storeys high, with a total of five windows. The Studio Cottage has four semi-dormer windows, and its windows contain 16 panes. In contrast, the windows of Marston Mews have verticals only. There is a plinth at the base of the cottages. The Studio Cottage has a 20th-century doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets and a panelled door. Marston Mews features a 19th-century doorcase with a flat hood on brackets, bulging pilasters, and a half-glazed 20th-century door.
