Description

Glenfield Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is partly timber framed with rendered clay lump infill and features a thatched roof. The building has one storey and a dormer attic, with a door located on the left side. There are four late 20th-century casement windows in the original openings, along with two dormers under the thatch. The roof is gabled, and there is a stack positioned over the door and at the external north-west gable. A pantiled outshut was added to this gable wall in the 19th century, but it now has 20th-century detailing.
