Description

Grey Roofs is an early 18th-century house in Great Ellingham. It is timber-framed with lath and plaster infill, rendered with roughcast. The roof is covered in corrugated iron. The house follows a lobby entrance plan and has one storey plus a dormer attic. A central door provides access. There are three 3-light casement windows. Four sloping dormers contain casements. The roof is gabled, with a rebuilt stack located above the front door. A north bay was added in the late 19th century, featuring an internal gable stack.
