Description

Dees Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It is constructed with timber framing and brick infill, and has a thatched roof. The timber framing is arranged in irregular square panels. The house is single-storey with an attic. The front elevation has a small window to the left of a pair of windows, and a single window to the right of the doorway. Two eyebrow dormers light the attic. The thatch extends down over the doorway to form a porch. An outshut, also timber-framed, is set against the right-hand gable. A chimney is located on the right-hand side. The right-hand gable truss exhibits two struts between the tie-beam and collar.
