Description
Welland Stone House is a 17th century timber-framed house with plaster panels, featuring a plain tile roof. It has a large external stack on the east end and a rebuilt stack on the west end. Originally, it was two cottages, both with one storey and an attic, and square framing, with the eastern cottage appearing to be older. The east side includes one dormer and two modern casement windows arranged in a 3 x 5 panel configuration. The west side has two dormers, two modern casement windows, and a modern lean-to porch, arranged in a 3 x 6 panel configuration. There is also a modern brick extension on the west end. Attached to the northwest corner is a one-storey timber-framed outhouse, which has one casement window and a plain tile roof that is half-hipped at the west end.
