Description
Welland Lodge Farm is a substantial red brick house built around 1840, featuring an earlier rear range. The main two-storey section has a low pitched roof with a stone parapet that is raised over the center. It includes a stone cornice and was originally designed with three windows, which are fitted with glazing bar sashes and stone voussoirs. The entrance has a pilastered doorcase with an entablature, a panelled door, and a rectangular fanlight that has marginal glazing bars. There is a modern addition to the south that matches the one-window range. The rear range is constructed of later 18th century brick and has a hipped north gable, with irregular fenestration.
