Description
Lawn Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century, with some remains from the 17th century. It is constructed of brick and timber-framing, topped with a tile roof, and has two storeys. The left side features a taller section with two bays, which includes boxed sash windows with glazing bars. In the right-hand bay, there is a door adorned with an open pediment supported by brackets and a fanlight above it. The right side of the building incorporates an earlier timber-framed structure, and to the right of a projecting chimney stack, there is some exposed framing arranged in square panels. To the left of the stack, there are sash windows with glazing bars on both floors, along with two small windows on the first floor. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in June 1986.
