Description

WELLAND CP A 4104 SO 83 NW 5/173 Lawn Farmhouse - II

House. Probably late C18 with C17 remains. Brick and timber-framing with tile roof. Two storeys. At the left is a taller section of two bays which has boxed sashes with glazing bars. In its right-hand bay is a door with an open pediment on brackets and a fanlight. The right-hand part of the building incorporates an earlier timber-framed structure. To the right of a projecting chimney stack is some exposed framing in square panels. To the left of the stack there is a sashed window with glazing bars on each floor. On the first floor are two small windows. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (June 1986).
