Description

The barn located to the west of Welland Lodge is a 17th-century timber-framed structure with gable ends and plain tile roofs. The main section is weatherboarded and features central cart doors, along with a lower extension to the south that is also timber-framed and gable ended, with brick infill. There is a 19th-century stone and brick lean-to addition on the west side. The rear addition displays an exposed timber frame with painted brick infill. The east gable end includes tension bracing and intersecting diamond panels in the gable.
