Description
The barn located to the north-northwest of Wellwick Manor dates back to the 18th century and has undergone alterations. It is timber framed, standing on a brick plinth, with old brick infilling in the outer bays on the south side. The central bays are filled with modern brickwork and the structure is partly weatherboarded. The gables and the north side are also weatherboarded, featuring a gabled cart entry. The roof is tiled. Inside, the barn consists of five bays, retaining old wall posts, but the roof timbers are from the 19th century. There is a weatherboarded and tiled lean-to at the eastern end. This barn is included for its group value with the nearby manor.
