Description
This is a barn located to the west of Wellwick Manor, dating from the 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with early brick infill on the eastern elevation and weatherboarding on the western side. The barn has an old tiled roof with hipped gables. On the western side, there is a projecting gabled cart entry with a tiled outshot on the left-hand side, and a brick addition on the right-hand side of the cart entry, which has a continuous tiled roof.
Inside, the barn consists of five bays, supported by curved braces and curved principals that hold lower purlins and collars beneath the upper purlins. At the southern end, there is a lower wing with timber framed and brick walls, also covered by a tiled roof.
