Description

This is a 17th-century barn located to the northwest of Well End Farmhouse. It features a timber frame with 20th-century weatherboarding and an old tiled roof. The barn consists of eight bays and has a gabled, projecting cart entry in the third bay, along with lean-to extensions in front of the left bays and the fifth bay. The rear has irregular openings. Inside, the barn has queen strut trusses with curved braces to the tie-beams and curved wind-braces, made from heavy timbers. The two western bays may have been added slightly later.
