Description
Red Cottage is a pair of houses located on Marlow Road in Little Marlow, dating from the early 19th century and refurbished in the 20th century. The buildings are constructed of brick with a plain tile roof and feature a central brick chimney. They stand two storeys high and consist of four bays. The exterior includes a chamfered plinth, a first floor band course with a central row of vitreous headers, and narrow dentil eaves. The windows are 20th-century barred wooden casements, with the left bays having two lights and asymmetrical top-lights, while the right bays have two lights on the ground floor and three lights on the first floor. Each house has a 20th-century door at the centre, and all ground floor openings have cambered heads.
