Description
The Plough is a house dating from the mid-18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of chequer brick and features a first floor band course, with a tiled roof and flanking brick chimneys. The building has an L-plan layout and consists of two storeys and an attic, with two bays.
On the ground floor, there are canted bay windows with barred wooden casements, and a cornice that extends across the centre to form a porch. The central doorway has been blocked and is now fitted with a small round window. The first floor contains three-light barred wooden casements and a narrow blocked window in the centre. There is a small 20th-century attic window in the right gable. A door leads into an early 19th-century wing at the rear on the right side, and there is a 20th-century lean-to conservatory on the left.
