Description

Little Acre Cottage is a house dating to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It is constructed of flint and rubble stone with brick dressings, all whitewashed. The roof is thatched, with a brick chimney situated between the right bays. Originally two bays wide, a further bay was added to the right. The windows are leaded casements, with irregular segmental heads to the ground floor and two-light windows to the first floor. A blocked doorway sits between the left bays, and a door is located within a thatched porch at the left end. A whitewashed weatherboard bay at the right end contains a single leaded light, another door, and a matching 20th-century extension, all under the thatched roof.
