Description
Coombe Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of vitreous and brown brick, featuring red brick quoins and window surrounds. The roof is covered with old tiles and has flanking brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are old metal casements with single horizontal glazing bars and 20th-century glazing, arranged as three-light windows flanking a two-light window on the ground floor, which have chequered segmental heads. There is a central 20th-century door in an altered surround with a 20th-century flat wooden hood, and a blocked door is located to the right of the centre. Additionally, there are small single-storey extensions to the left gable and a lean-to at the rear.
