Description

This early 19th-century house, now a shop, is located in Lowesmoor, with later alterations including a late 19th-century shop front. The building is constructed of reddish-brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a slate roof. A brick stack is situated on the left side, featuring an oversailing course and decorative pots.

The house is two storeys high with an attic. The first floor has two windows, each with 8/8 sashes set in near-flush frames, and sills. A dormer window is visible on the roof and contains casement windows. The ground floor shop front has a central entrance with a part-glazed door and overlight, flanked by plate-glass windows with turned mullions which angle into the entrance.

The interior of the building was not inspected.
