Description
No. 37 Lowesmoor is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some alterations, including a late 19th-century shop front and later restorations. The building is constructed of reddish-brown brick laid in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof. It has three storeys and two windows on the first floor. The first floor has 8/8 sash windows, while the second floor has 4/4 sash windows, all set in near-flush frames with cambered flat arches above them. There is a dentil eaves band along the roofline. The shop front includes a central entrance with a part-glazed door flanked by plate glass windows set on a plinth, which is canted into the center with turned mullions and topped with a fascia. There is an additional entrance to the left, which is a replacement door. The interior has not been inspected.
