Description
Numbers 43 and 45 on Lowesmoor are two houses that have been converted into shops. They date from the early 19th century and have undergone later alterations, including the addition of shop fronts during renovations in the 1970s and again in 1997. The buildings are constructed of reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond and feature a plain tile roof with brick stacks at the rear, which have oversailing courses and pots. The structure has three storeys, with one window on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The first-floor windows, which are boarded up, have elliptical arches. The shop fronts are glazed and boarded, and there is an eaves band. The interior has not been inspected.
