Description
This building, located at 64 Lowesmoor, is a house that has been converted into a flat and is now part of the Elim Pentecostal Church. It was constructed in 1800 and has undergone some alterations since then. The exterior is made of pinkish-red brick laid in Flemish bond, featuring red gauged brick arches and a hipped slate roof at the front.
The house has three storeys and two windows on the first floor. The first-floor windows include 6/6 and 8/8 sash windows, while the second floor has 3/6 and 4/8 sash windows. The ground floor features an 8/8 sash window. All windows are set in plain reveals with sills and flat arches made of gauged brick. The entrance, located to the left, consists of a four-panel door, where the two lower panels are flush-beaded, and it includes a fanlight with radial glazing bars. This entrance is also set in plain reveals and topped with a round arch of gauged brick. A modillion eaves band adds to the architectural detail.
The interior has not been inspected. The building forms a cohesive group with the Elim Pentecostal Church on Lowesmoor.
