Description

This mid-18th century shop, formerly a house, is located on the north side of Sheep Street in Shipston on Stour. The building is constructed of squared, coursed lias stone with a coped gable to the right-hand side. It has a 20th-century tile roof and a brick end stack. Originally laid out with a two-unit plan, the building now presents a two-window facade. To the right is a 19th-century archway with a semi-circular head, and to the left a 20th-century door and shop front. The first floor has two three-light casement windows. The interior remains uninspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
