Description

This is an 18th-century shop located on the north side of Cliffe High Street in Lewes. The building is constructed of painted brick with boxed eaves and a slate roof, featuring a brick stack behind the ridge. It is two storeys high. The upper floor contains two windows with late 19th-century wood-framed casements, each with eight lights and a transom. The ground floor has a 20th-century shopfront with inset glazed doors on the left. The building is included on the list for its group value.
