Description
This is a late 18th-century house and shop, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is located on the south side of High Street in Wallingford. The building is constructed of painted brick with an old plain-tile roof and a brick end stack to the right. It is two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. A 20th-century glazed door is centrally positioned within the shop front on the right. There are 16-pane unhorned sash windows on the ground floor to the left, and a 16-pane horned sash window on the first floor. A brick dentil course runs along the eaves. The attic space is accessed via two flat-roofed dormers, each containing a four-pane horned sash window. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
