Description
No. 26 High Street is a house and shop, likely built in the mid-17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The ground floor features glazed tiles, probably set on brick, while the first floor is rendered timber framing. The building has an old plain-tile roof and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with two glazed doors. The first floor jetties out and includes two 3-light horizontal sash windows. There are also two gabled full dormers, each with 2-light casements. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
