Description
Blazers is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling, dating from the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century shop front. The building is rendered, likely over brick, and features a Welsh slate roof with a brick stack at the right rear. It is three stories tall and has a two-window range. To the right of the shop front, there is a glazed door flanked by segmental-headed windows, which are supported by Greek fluted Doric columns that hold a name board. The first floor has 12-pane unhorned sash windows with painted wood architrave surrounds, while the second floor features 9-pane unhorned sash windows with similar surrounds. There are moulded pilaster strips at the ends of the first and second floors. The right return has 20th-century windows, and there have been 20th-century alterations to the interior. The building is included for its group value.
