Description

No. 21 High Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and features an old plain-tile roof with a brick end stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century six-panel door with a fanlight above. All window openings have 16-pane sashes with architrave surrounds and cambered brick heads, while the first-floor windows are unhorned. A dentil course is present at the eaves. There are two flat-roofed dormers, each featuring 9-pane unhorned sashes with architrave surrounds. The interior has not been inspected.
