Description

This building comprises shops and dwellings, dating to the 17th century with a later addition on the right side. It has a rendered plinth and lined render, likely on a timber frame construction, with an old plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window facade. A 19th-century shop front is located centrally, with a 20th-century part-glazed door to the left. A carriage-way arch includes panelled double doors on the right side. There is a 20-pane sash window with a painted wooden architrave surround on the left side of the ground floor, and two-light casements at the first floor. The roof on the right side is higher than that of the centre and left portions. Interior timber framing is visible. The building has group value.
