Description

No 43 on Cliffe High Street is a shop built in the early 19th century. It features yellow brick construction with a stuccoed cill-band beneath the second-floor windows, a moulded parapet, and window surrounds. The parapet conceals the roof. The building has three storeys and a three-window front, with glazing bar sashes set in wide moulded surrounds. The ground floor has an early 20th-century single shopfront with a door inset to the left. This shop is similar to Nos 41 and 42 but does not have pilasters.
