Description

No 47 on Cliffe High Street is a shop dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features grey headers with red dressings and has a wooden eaves cornice above a slate roof, which has a stack on the left side. The building stands three storeys tall and has a two-window front, with glazing bar sashes set in dressed surrounds that have gauged heads. The first-floor windows are partially obscured by a deep fascia board from an early 20th-century shopfront, which includes an inset glazed door on the right. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
