Description
Nos 14 and 15 on Cliffe High Street are a pair of shops built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow brick with rendered dressings and feature channelled pilaster strips. Above the first floor, there is a band, and a tall parapet conceals the roof. The building has three storeys and a regular two-window front, which is enhanced by channelled pilaster strips with wreath features at the capital level. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in heavy rendered surrounds, which are shallower on the second floor. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century single shopfronts, both with glazed doors positioned to the right. This building is included for its group value.
